Fight Net
Boxing Radio Team Hits The Internet
Antonio
Margarito vs. Shane Mosley marks the first big fight of 2009.
January 26, 2009 - It also marks the
beginning of FightNetBoxing.com - a boxing website that will look to break
big stories, provide insightful, honest commentary, and feature in-depth,
well-written stories on the fight game. Fightnetboxing.com is the brainchild
of four boxing enthusiasts - Lee Honish, Matt Aguilar, Andrew LaPachet and
Adam Ramirez.
Honish is the founding father of the FightNet
name, and his entertaining radio show has taken various forms on the
Internet and on the airwaves to often controversial results. He is a
jack-of-all-trades who brings a fresh prespective to the sport.
Aguilar and Ramirez are former newspaper
reporters at the El Paso Times and Miami Herald, respectively. Both have a
passion for pugilism and journalism, and have the chops to break news and
make statements.
LaPachet is a writer for PrimerRound Magazine
whose opinions are strong and sound, and whose gusto for the sport is
undeniable.
Ramirez will be on hand at the Staples Center
in Los Angeles to bring you live reports on Margarito-Mosley in an honest,
straight-forward, entertaining way.
The new website will complement Honish's Fight
Net Radio, in which the team members dissect and analyze the sweet science
for two solid, hard-hitting hours. We'll recap the week in boxing that was,
and preview the week that is to come.
One thing you can be sure: We will strive to
make it all quality.
Really, this website is a labor of love. It's
powered by an enthusiasm for boxing. The four founding members can attest to
the fact that, somewhere, somehow, this sport got a hold of them and never
let go.
Because of that, we at FightNetBoxing.com will
always strive to make the sport proud. |
