Philadelphia (August 4, 2014) – This past Saturday night at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City, Heavyweight Joey Dawejko made an emphatic statement as he destroyed David Williams in just 108 seconds of the scheduled 8-round bout that was part of the Sergey Kovalev – Blake Caparello card.
Dawejko, who was making his first start under the Club 1957 Management banner scored three destructive knockdowns and looked like the fighter that many thought he would be after a decorated amateur career.
Dawejko of Philadelphia is now 11-3-2 with 4 knockouts said, “I felt great tonight, It definitely was a good performance and a great win.”
Dawejko gives a lot of credit to manager Mark Cipparone and Club 1957 Management.
“Mark supports his fighters to the max and that’s a big part of it. I have so much more confidence from him and I love what he does for his fighters.”
Said Mark Cipparone, “Joey was terrific on Saturday and the best is yet to come. We have only had a him a few weeks and we know that in the next two fights, he will be in great condition and he will be on his way to do the major things that people had believed he would do coming out of the amateurs.”
Dawejko is promoted by Peltz Boxing.
