SHOWTIME Sports® will offer viewers a glimpse into the drama of last Saturday’s thrilling showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana from a unique perspective and lift the curtain on the rarely seen aftermath of world championship prizefighting with “Epilogue,” the final episode of the Sports EMMY® Award winning series ALL ACCESS: Mayweather vs. Maidana.
“Epilogue” premieres this Saturday following the special SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING premiere of Mayweather vs. Maidana and Amir Khan vs. Luis Collazo from last Saturday’s SHOWTIME PPV presentation of “THE MOMENT” at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. These two programs and much more are part of this weekend’s SHOWTIME Free Preview Weekend, a special promotion allowing the premium network to be available in 74 million households nationwide from Friday, May 9 through Sunday, May 11.

“THE MOMENT: Mayweather vs. Maidana” was a 12-round world championship unification bout for Mayweather and Maidana’s respective 147-pound titles. This was the third fight of Mayweather’s lucrative multi-fight deal with Showtime Networks Inc. THE MOMENT was promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Corona, O’Reilly Auto Parts and AT&T. In the co-main event, Amir Khan faced Luis Collazo in a 12-round bout for the vacant WBC silver welterweight world title. The pay-per-view undercard featured a 10-round junior welterweight fight between Adrien Broner and Carlos Molina as well as a 10-round super middleweight bout featuring J’Leon Love vs. Marco Antonio Periban.
