Boxing action returns to the Lebanon House in the heart of the Ghanaian capital Accra on Boxing Day December 26th when Landmark Promotions and Management Limited stage the ‘Put up or Shut up’ boxing show. Top of the bill is the clash for the vacant WBC International silver welterweight title featuring Ghana’s Patrick Allotey and Patrick Sou Toke of Burkina Faso.
Aside being namesakes, both boxers are unbeaten boasting a combined career record of 33-0, 22 KOs, setting the stage for a cracker in Accra on Boxing Day next Monday. Sou Toke has promised to beat the Ghanaian as Christmas gift for Burkinabes, but Allotey says no way.
This mouthwatering bill, ‘Put up or Shut up’ featuring a total of 8 bouts, is put together by Landmark Promotions and Management under the auspices of the Ghana Boxing Authority led by Samir captan. Landmark Promotions CEO Anthony Kermah is expressing gratitude to the WBC for the opportunity to promote this championship in Ghana.
“I will like to thank the WBC International President Mario Betti and the entire WBC for giving us the privilege to do this promotion. We pledge to put up a splendid show so that next time it would be the world title itself that we shall promote here,” Mr. Kermah has declared.
Also fighting on December 26 are the world title chasing quadruple of Maxwell Awuku, Rafael Mensah, George Ashie and Kwahu Mike Tyson Emmanuel Danso. Awuku faces Nigerian Sunday Ajayi, Mensah fights another Nigerian Prince Nurudeen whilst Ashie takes on Kpodonou Nazei of Benin, all in international Lightweight contests over 8 rounds each.
Pride of Kwahu, Emmanuel Danso, fights Anyetei Sowah in a Light heavyweight contest with Ghana-based Nigerian Isaac Ekpo against Aduku Nsor in a Suepr Middleweight clash as well as Habib Ahmed versus George Banson and Issah Samir against Eric Kwadey, all Middleweight contests.
