Emmanuel Andujar did not fight tonight but advanced to the next round due to his opponent not making weight. I spoke with Emmanuel and he stated that he didn’t fight today apparently James Gibson didn’t make weight so he got disqualified but he got to advance to the finals so next week you can come and check him out. So far Emmanuel said the fights tonight went pretty good. He knows if he becomes the Golden Gloves Champion he gets to advance to the national tournament. That is where the best of the best fighters come to fight.
I spoke with a few other individuals and this is what they had to say:
Jerod Gaskins: I think the judges are scoring each fight very well so hopefully I’ll go in there and do what I’m supposed to do and hopefully I’ll come out with a knock out or a decision.
Mike “The Machine” Oliver: I used to fight in the Golden Gloves. It’s a good show today and next Saturday will be better because it’s the last night. Everybody wants to be the Golden Gloves Champion.
Donte Longwa: I think my fight was kinda of sluggish. I’m getting used to this weight class. I came in 10 pounds under the weight that I was suppose to be in, so I defininately lost the weight advantage but for the most part I was able to give some clean effective punches and I finished strong.
Lamar Longwa: Over all, all of the fights are going pretty good. Respectively Dante’s fight. I liked it a lot. Doing what he can do in his division. He’s naturally a welterweight. He came in 10 pounds less than the guy he was fighting and he got the job done and I’m proud of what he did. Another day in the office.
Next week Saturday, February 5, 2011, competitors will compete to see who will move from this event to the New England Championship Tournament, which will be held in Lowell, Massachusetts.
I was аble to find good іnformation frοm youг articleѕ.
