Press Release: October 21, 2010
In response to demands from visitors and evolving trends in technology, FightKings.Com, a unique boxing content website, has redesigned its website to provide a more interactive boxing experience to its fans.
“I am excited about the new website” said FightKing’s Chief Scribe Michael Amakor, “It’s been long overdue, we can now maintain our competitive edge amongst the teaming new boxing websites out there.”
The redesigned FightKings.Com allows you publish your comments about an article, and each article is automatically cross-referenced to related stories to provide you with a deeper perspective. The new website is also mobile phone compatible for a more pleasurable viewing experience and you are able to add your comments from your phone and receive alerts about updates.
Additionally, the hundreds of past articles, posters, press releases and other commentaries are archived and accessible in the old format for historical purposes. Equally important, the new website features fight trailer videos, FightKings TV feature clips, and a Cruiserweight and African Boxing page.
Most interestingly, the site also features live commentary and interviews streamed directly from the fights. “New Technology is allowing FightKings to provide boxing fans a more interactive ringside experience, you feel like you are in the arena when you listen to our audio feeds” added Mr. Amakor.
FightKings.Com was created in 2003 to provide parity amongst champions regardless of sanctioning body affiliation. Thus champions from other governing bodies besides the big 4 (WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF) are provided equal coverage and recognition. FightKings.Com strives to provide coverage to boxing contenders who are not signed to major promoters with television deals.
